Babywearing Review: Natibay Colibri

At the beginning of my babywearing journey I could never imagine why one would need more than one wrap. And here I was, wanting a "shorty".

I've had a size six for quite some time which is wonderful for intricate wraps but it can be a bit much for a quick ruck. I also wanted to try a different blend as well since I was used to 100% cotton.

After much research, I decided on this beauty: a size four Natibaby Colibri in olive color.

It's an incredibly thick and squishy with a linen/cotton blend.

As much as I loved this wrap, I wasn't sold on how thick it was. I had a Vatanai just prior which was super thin so I actually sold this to one really sweet mama. I explained how much I loved it and that if she ever decided to sell it, to let me know, in case I might be interested in buying it back.

Sure enough, it was meant to be. This wasn't a perfect match for her and she sent me a message not long after asking if I'd like it back. I jumped at the chance after missing it and I found a new appreciation for the thickness of this wrap.

Tessa was so happy to have it back as well. A game of hide and seek was the perfect way to welcome this gorgeous wrap back home.

I’m Stephanie, the mind and Momma behind The Heirloom Family. I created this blog as a way to capture the magic of our family and the beauty of every day slow and simple living. I also hope it serves as an inspiration to you as well.

Nestled in our little corner of the Earth in Western New York, I am lucky enough to share my home with my husband and our daughter, along with 4 cheerful cats.

We strive for a wholesome life, one that is slow and steady. I want to breathe it in, this time we have, and I might just be lucky enough to see the magic in it all.
