As fast as the storm came in that dumped over six feet of snow on parts of Western New York, it began to melt just as quickly a few days later.
By Sunday we had temperatures reach sixty degrees and with all that snow, the state was ready for more disaster. They brought in boats, high-axle vehicles, helicopters and more to be prepared.
Thank goodness they were not needed. Just a sump pump in the basement and rain pants for a few days and we did just fine.
A hawk even came to check out what was going on.
What a wild storm this was, I tell ya.
