Life is just a colander of cherries.


Really. It's what it is all about at the end of June when you can get them cheaper than any other time of the year.


We've been eating them almost everyday these past few weeks. Then, when I saw them at only $3 a pound when we previously were paying $7 I had to stock up for the freezer.


These Washington cherries are super sweet and delicious.


 I feel like I am a cherry-pitting professional with my straw technique. I can clean prep and pit over two pounds of cherries for a flash freeze in 10 minutes flat.
