Beach Love

Every free moment is one in which we are all dreaming of the beach.

It's been dewy and overcast the past few days which makes for our favorite time for an unplanned trip to the water.

I look at her and think how much of my yearning for life is within her eyes

There is nothing better than skipping stones.

And carrying huge sticks, I suppose.

This photograph makes my heart flutter because I see such joy in Scott's face. If you want to understand him or get to know him, this moment captures it all.

Sweet Margo watches her people so intently, watching to make sure everyone is okay.

Puppy prints in the sand make me happy.

This dog has helped me to love and appreciate dogs again, the way I once did.

I have loved all animals, especially dogs, my entire life - then after falling in love with my rescue cats, I thought my heart only could know feline love.

Well, thanks to this girl, I remember the feeling of the canine type too.

Even though she's afraid of water, as you can see below.

I am home.

And I am free.
