Fairy Festival

We are quite enchanted with the magic of fairies so our family searches out any opportunity to celebrate that with others. Not more than an hour or so away, we were told about this great Fairy Festival so we made the day of it in this gorgeous park.

We enjoyed live children's music.

Met beautiful fairies all around that even gave magic dust.

Chased bubbles.

Put our wishes on the Wishing Tree for the fairies to collect after sunset.

Went to see all the creative fairy homes.

Even Momma got her fairy wings.

Tessa dutifully waited in a long, hot line for what seemed forever so that she could get her face painted. She loved it.

We played and played and played some more in and out of these fun houses and paths.

We couldn't leave this land without enjoying all the natural beauty.

He's so good at being a fairy Daddy!

Just as the Sandman began to take hold, we created the most beautiful of crowns to remember such a special day.

I’m Stephanie, the mind and Momma behind The Heirloom Family. I created this blog as a way to capture the magic of our family and the beauty of every day slow and simple living. I also hope it serves as an inspiration to you as well.

Nestled in our little corner of the Earth in Western New York, I am lucky enough to share my home with my husband and our daughter, along with 4 cheerful cats.

We strive for a wholesome life, one that is slow and steady. I want to breathe it in, this time we have, and I might just be lucky enough to see the magic in it all.

There are so many things in life that I love – nature. crochet. photography. gardening. cooking. faith. honey. reading. sunsets and sunrises. flowers. ballet. enchantment.
