Mud, Man

We are beginning to think about how we can turn our backyard into something more than just a lawn full of grass. Textures and layers of exploration is what we needed so this mud pit will be a great help in getting things started.

It's great to spy animal and human tracks in.

Look for bugs and worms.

And digging, of course. 

Plus it's really fun to jump in from our jumping logs.

Children need mud in their lives. It's good for their body and soul. Just like a nice, warm bath afterwards.
