Outside Fort

We built our fair share of forts in the house this winter. Those brutally cold days where we couldn't safely be outside meant we'd make an awesome hiding space with pillows, blankets and chairs.

Now that April is finally here, we got to build an outside fort!

Made of materials from our yard like dried sunflower stalks and hibernating tall grass, we were able to fashion something that Tessa could call a fort.

I've got quite a bit to learn in primitive shelter building but it was still something fun to climb in and out of for our outside time this afternoon.
