Here Ye! Here Ye!

Make it known that we have officially been permitted to house four non-rooster fowl.



Yes, that's right folks - this family is getting chickens!
We live in a suburban village that is not agriculturally zoned but thankfully it's been passed through law that residents here can house up to four chickens (but they must not be roosters) by permit.



I wish there wasn't so much governing for issues such as these but nonetheless, I'm pleased I was able to go to town hall and get the permit just as easily as I did our building permit for the fence.


Stay tuned folks! Spring is not far off and four chickens will soon have a new home!
