We've had plenty of opportunities to enjoy hot cocoa this season but something got me hankering for an extra special cup of this deliciousness.
I use this recipe to make the base for my hot cocoa late in fall and it keeps in m freezer through the cold season.
Then I whipped up some heavy cream with a dash of peppermint extract to create an infused whipped cream on top.
Now only if I had homemade marshmallows...
