A good number, at least ten that I've seen, of sparrows have taken up residence in our Christmas tree outside. With the snow that has now fallen on top, it seems to be providing a charming little home that is near the bird feeder.
Our sparrows have their feathers ruffled up to insulate their body heat.
And the feeder is going empty much faster than usual.
And the squirrels keep eating the peanuts for the blue jays.
