Now that we are getting into the swing of nature tables, I was so excited to put this together for our family to enjoy for the summer.
The gorgeous wooden shell-shaped bowl I found at a thrift store.
Here is our summer peg doll that I woodburned and painted with watercolor. Either he's awaiting for me to needlefelt his hat or he may just go without one since its summer.
Our beautiful frame, reconstructed by my dear husband, to hold a precious postcard which Tessa chose. I wanted to put our strawberry picking one in but after looking at this one again, I'm happy she chose this one because it depicts one of her favorite jobs - The Heirloom Family: Watering.
My hand dyed play silk, a mixture of golden sun colors, green foliage and blue waters.
Our family collection of sea glass and other beach finds. I realized today that I always say that I want to "bottle up this moment and save it forever" and this jar is exactly that. That's why I still have the jelly jar full of sea glass we collected as kids with my Daddy - those moments are with me always when I look at it.
Gorgeous sun-kilned driftwood we collected from our walks on the beach down the road.
Off course, my hand-poured beeswax candle.
My Dad gave us the starfish pendant and we picked up the feather on the beach.
These shells we got from a nature treasure store around the corner from us, along with the starfish.
Happy summer everyone! Be sure to celebrate the beauty of the solstice!
